random thought: the moment you consciously decide to stop wishing someone happy birthday is the moment you decide to make that person irrelevant in your life.

great thing about being single: independence. all my decisions are made by a central authority...me. I can unilaterally make major and minor decisions for myself...selfishly.

sad thing about being single: I may have become too independent and stubborn that singleness will be a perpetual cycle that won't break because I'll be a terrible significant other to someone. I may have a deep rooted habit of doing things only for myself and for my sake. I've never had to work out my life around someone else. So in sum, I'm going to be a bad participant in a relationship. Also, every decision I make...I make alone without anyone's feedback so if it backfires...it's all my fault!
